How to Use the Mercedes-Benz Navigation System

Mercedes-Benz Navigation

The Mercedes-Benz navigation system allows you to get turn-by-turn directions and customizable maps and settings to make your Blue Ash drives easier. The technology system is used through COMAND® – the automotive brand’s infotainment system. Even though most new Mercedes-Benz vehicles include COMAND® as standard, the COMAND® navigation is optional for cars like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, GLA, and CLA. Learn more about how to use the navigation system and how to update it with Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our service center if you need assistance along the way.

How to Use the Navigation: Setting a Destination

When it’s time to set a destination or a point of interest in or around the Montgomery area, follow these steps below:

When it’s in motion:

  • Press the voice activation button on the steering wheel and say “Enter Destination.”
  • Speak the address aloud.
  • Confirm or correct the destination.
  • If you need to correct the address, say “correct street” or “correct number” to do so.
  • You’ll receive turn-by-turn directions over the audio system, which is safer and better than watching the central display.

When your car is stationary:

  • Press the NAVI button on the dash or press the central controller and choose NAVI from the menu on the central display.
  • Rotate the controller and choose Destination.
  • Choose Address Entry (or From POIs) from the menu.
  • Follow the prompts to input the full address.
  • Choose the route that you want.

Mercedes-Benz Navigation System: Additional Features

  • Adjust Voice Prompts: Use the up/down arrows on the steering wheel to adjust the volume of the voice prompts. The same as you would when using the stereo system.
  • Adjust Map Views: Choose a flat map, a birds-eye view map, or a 3D map to make seeing where you’re going easier and what to expect along the way.
  • Use SiriusXM® Traffic: Subscribe to SiriusXM® Traffic for real-time updates on traffic conditions around Stanislaus or Turlock.
